“It has been a real pleasure working on these cases these last few weeks, you have a lovely manner with patients, you listen and are really clear and it has been really positive to see how reflective and positive you are, so thank you!”

“ I had a clinical assessment with Dr Joshi. He was extremely kind, caring, and attentive. He took the time to really understand the issues I was having, which pertain to my LGBT background and was able to give me insight that no one else could. I'm very glad I met with him. “
Dr Joshi is very approachable and extremely supportive. He takes time to reflect on situations he faces and invites others to do the same. His advice is clear and concise. He always encourages others to reach a management plan in a collaborative approach with other team members, patients as well as carers. I have certainly learned a lot from working with Dr Joshi and it has been an absolute pleasure.
“ First impression on first meeting, the best experience, for me to be advised on the perspective of what my needs should be moving forward. So pleased to have met Dr Joshi who gave me great understanding. “
“It has been my pleasure to know Dr Joshi both personally and professionally for 10 years.
Dr Joshi recently came to my aid when a close family member had a mental health crisis and had to be retrieved from Europe. I sought his assistance on a bank holiday weekend and he conducted a video consultation on my relative and then gave reassurance and arranged treatment by liaising with my GP. Treatment was started promptly and the patient has improved dramatically and continues to improve with further follow up being arranged. I will be forever grateful for the way in which Dr Joshi handled the situation with calm reassurance and advice.
I have worked with Dr Joshi as an NHS consultant when he ran a mental health team associated with an Accident and Emergency Department. He was a hard-working and dedicated consultant psychiatrist and was also a good manager of his team as well as being an excellent communicator. He was patient and thorough when teaching his team and my team of emergency staff and has a lovely personality.
The recent events have confirmed what I already knew, that Dr Joshi is both an excellent psychiatrist and a very good person.”
