Mental health conditions are increasing worldwide, there has been a 13% rise in mental health conditions and substance use disorders in the last decade (to 2017).

Suicide is the second leading cause of death among 15-29-year-olds.

The prevalence is even much higher in some groups. Evidence suggests that 1 in 3 individuals in the LGBTQ+ community experience mental illness in a 12-month period.

Mental health difficulties often emerge due to a complex combination of factors that include Genetics/biological, developmental, psychological, life events, environmental, cultural and social. My assessment, formulation and management plans incorporate all these factors, while also attuned to the individual’s health needs.
